BOARDING CONTRACT

Thank you for choosing to use Camp KCS, Inc. as your pets Home away from Home while you are away.  Camp KCS, Inc will take full responsiblity for your pet(s) while in our care and make sure that they are as comfortable as possible.  We promise to keep them in safe, clean and in spacious quarters while they are here, play with them and feed them as described by you the owner.  If your pet(s) becomes seriously ill during his/her stay we will do everything that is necessary to see that your pet gets medical attention at once.  We will do everything we can to contact your Veterinarian. In the event your Vet is too far away or can not be reached, we will proceed to take your pet to Creature Comforts Veterinary Service (570) 992-0400, which is a 24 hour Clinic. By signing below, you agree, as owner of the above named  pet(s),  that Camp KCS representatives have the authority to make any decisions concerning the well-being of my pet in the event that I or my emergency contact cannot be reached.  Camp KCS will not be responsible for any medical problems past or present that are not brought to their attention.   I, the owner of the Pet specified above, will be responsible for any damages done by the pet while staying at Camp KCS, Inc.

All pets are boarded or otherwise cared for by me without liability on my part for loss or damage from disease, death, running away, theft, fire, injury to persons, other pets, or property by said pet, or other unavoidable causes, due diligence and care having been exercised.
If a pet, which is presented for boarding, is found to have fleas and/or ticks, it will be bathed at the owners expense.

The pet is not to be taken off the premises except by the consent of the owner.

As owner of above named pet, I know that the bordatella vaccine is like any other vaccine and is  NOT 100% EFFECTIVE.  If my pet should contract kennel cough, even with having the vaccine in time for it to become effective, I will not hold Camp KCS, Inc., responsible.

Please be advised that starting immediately, Camp KCS will charge for NO SHOW APPOINTMENTS. Due to the overwhelming demand on boarding and the fairness to all of our clients, we will require a 24 hour cancellation notice for all Boarding Appointments. Any Appointments not kept with no notice will be subject to a 10.00 per day fee for the length of the scheduled stay. For example: If you make a boarding appointment for 10 days and do not call to cancel we will charge you 100.00. All of our clients are important to us and should not have to be turned away for boarding for someone else to just not show up. Thank You CAMP KCS
