Do I have to bring food with my pet?
We always suggest bringing your pets own food. Abrupt dietary changes
can cause gastrointestinal issues.

If you choose not to bring food, we will supply dry food only (Fromm Classic for dogs or Purina for cats).
Any special dietary feedings like wet/can food or if your pet has allergies, you would have to bring that with you.

Although bringing your own food is not necessary, if you choose to bring your pets own food,
please have it contained in a sealed container clearly marked with his or her name.
What happens if my dogs must be separated for feedings? There is an extra charge per day for supervising or separating your dogs for feedings.  During Peak times, which is (may - Sept & Holidays)

You may have to book two kennels, which is costly.
If we have to supervise or separate for feedings there is a $5.00 per day charge.

What if my dog(s) are on medication? There is no charge for basic medication. This means simple oral form
medication that can easily be put in there food or other easy means of transport.

If your pets medication is difficult or extensive, there is additional charges for that.

Please make sure your pet has not been to their veterinarian 10 days prior to boarding.
In the event they must see their Veterinarian within the 10 days for medical reasons,
please request a Doctors note (we require this if they have been to the vets office)
stating that your pet does not have any contagious medical issue or that they have not
been exposed to any contagious medical issue.
What items may I bring with my pet?We welcome most items that would make your pet feel more comfortable
(i.e. toys, blankets, bed, treats)
We cannot take rugs, mattresses or large blankets that are not easily washable.

We also do not suggest bringing bowls, we have plenty of them and are easily
misplaced when removed for cleaning.

However, we will use elevated feeding stations for large dogs, so if you use one
of them please bring it with your pet.
How often is my dog given the opportunity to relieve himself? We walk your dog at least three times daily. This allows them to relieve
themselves and receive plenty of one-on-one interaction.
Will my dog have exercise while they are there? Yes! We have a fenced in back yard for exercise and play. In addition,
we also have an indoor play area when there is inclement weather.
Would I be able to visit my dog while they are there?
Yes, you are more than welcome to come visit your dog or even take
them out for a while. The only thing we ask is that you do this during our office hours.

Can my dogs board together in the same kennel? Yes, in most cases there is never an issue. However, dogs can act differently in a kennel environment.
If they exhibit any signs of aggression with each other we may be forced to separate them.

Dogs who are typically fine with each other at home but are agitated by new dogs in the
environment can exhibit what is called transfer aggression. This typically makes the other dog
in that kennel a target.
What happens if my dogs have to be separated?
If your dogs must be separated during their stay, we will do that to
protect both dogs. The multiple pet discount will no longer apply. You will also be required
to book multiple kennels on all future boarding's.
Can my dog & cat board together in the same kennel? Unfortunately, they cannot board in the same kennel.

However, there is a discount on the kitty if they board at the same time.  This discount is 20% off
the cats boarding

Extensions can easily be done before the appointment, but during the busy season and holidays it is not as easy after.
Is there video viewing available during my pets stay? Unfortunately, we do not have video viewing for our kennels.
However, we do have Facebook picture sign-up.

With the increased number of requests for pictures, especially during peak
season, we have to do a sign-up sheet. This sheet is located in our office on the counter.

Facebook Post cost is $5.00 per post (Multiple Pics)
This option is included with the Daycare
.

What is Daycare?Scheduling play dates with other dogs is the very best way for your dog to learn and hone his
communication skills with other dogs.  Dogs who are NOT spayed or neutered will be limited to play.

 • Grassy outdoor yard offer ample space to run and play
 • Our indoor play arena is climate-controlled for comfortable play in all weather conditions
 • Playgroups are supervised 100% of the time by our highly-trained staff
 • Facebook post included showing your pet having fun.
 • Check out our other doggie events, like our Summer & Fall Camps that incoporates afternoon hikes.

Daycare is is the perfect outlet for energetic dogs that are dog friendly and only need simple introduction
However, if your dog has never been in play groups with other dogs but is dog friendly,  he/she may need
a more in depth introduction session which would fall under a different catagory
(see Introduction services below) or would have to have one-on-one human only daycare.
What is introduction services? This service is offered for the dog who has no previous knowledge of how to interact with other dogs in play
groups but is dog friendly. These dogs will need the proper introduction to help solcialize your dog with other friendly dogs.

We can evaluate your dogs behavior and body language to correctly introduce them to each.
However, not all dogs can be introduced, so there is no guarantee that we will be successful.

In addition, there is a fee for this. This fee (usually $10-$20) is dependant on the difficulty of each
session and is in addition to the daycare.

WE DO NOT SOCIALIZE OR DESENSATIZE UNFRIENDLY DOGS.  THIS TYPE OF WORK IS BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION
AND MUST BE LEFT TO A CERTIFIED BEHAVIORIST TRAINER WHO CAN WORK WITH YOU AND YOUR DOG.
